Description
Humans had named the planet Ver-draak after the huge reptiles they found there. Among the native Ni-lach people, special singers were trained to control the deadly predators. But humans had to depend on the Ni-lach for protection. So when a group of human adventurers planned an expedition across the dreaded Draak's Teeth mountains, they needed a draak-singer to safeguard their journey. Suddenly the Ni-lach Bhaldavin was thrust into a quest for the relics of a forgotten era—and his only hope for freedom lay with the very people who had enslaved him.
