In a regimented future, a strange new alloy from another dimension triggers murderous impulses, and only the genetic descendants of Finnish mythological heroes can stop the return of the evil Pahaliset aliens. Each book features one of these heroes reborn to combat the alien threat, which is linked to the legendary Sampo device and the sorceress Louhi.
