The Helix War

Following a global catastrophe, Earth is ruled by a religious theocracy that sends a strike force to a distant water world, Marseguro, where a colony of humans and a genetically engineered race, the Selkies, have sought refuge. The series explores the conflict between the inhabitants of Marseguro and the forces from Earth, as well as the consequences of a deadly plague developed by the colony.
