Person vs Fate

The archetypal conflict between human agency and predetermination, charting a character's tragic or ironic struggle against prophecies, curses, or destiny.

The dread of inevitability, the crushing weight of a destiny that cannot be escaped. It's the tragic irony of fighting against a tide that is already won, the existential horror of realizing one's choices are illusions against a cosmic script.
