Mythpunk

A highly subversive subgenre that takes the raw material of global mythologies, folklore, and creation stories and aggressively deconstructs them through contemporary ideological frameworks.

The thrill of seeing ancient myths twisted and reclaimed to challenge power structures and center forgotten voices. It's the shock of recognizing familiar stories reborn with a radical, contemporary edge, offering a potent critique of history and tradition.
