Description
For Marion and Roland, a casual holiday in Cornwall begins to take on the proportions of a nightmare when they meet the gaunt, reclusive Keith Sharwood. Marion's growing and half-unwilling involvement with Keith leads to a chain of macabre events—a mutilated dog half-buried in sand dunes, a compelling telepathic call at the dead of night, a golden statue with the power to obsess, and an insane and bloody murder that finally brings Marion face to face with the power of an Assyrian demon, four thousand years old.
