The Seven Towers

A wizard arrives in a drought-stricken English town to find its problems run deeper than a lack of water, facing an evil that threatens both the town and his own domain. The series continues with the wizard ascending to divinity and confronting an ancient evil among the gods, learning that even deities have long memories and can die.
