The Reason

Humanity's expansion into the galaxy has led to the exploitation of magical creatures, known as Bala, who are now facing judgment by godlike aliens. This series follows a disabled shuttle captain and a half-unicorn as they become the last hope for magic when new laws threaten to make Bala property.
