Time-Displaced

The Time-Displaced refers to literary characters, entities, or events that transcend their original temporal context, existing outside of their designated historical or chronological framework, often resulting in a disjuncture between their internal experience and external circumstances, which can reveal profound insights into the human condition and challenge readers' perceptions of time, space, and narrative progression.

The disorientation of existing in the wrong era. The jarring clash of past and future colliding in the present, creating moments of profound alienation or unexpected connection. The thrill of seeing history through an outsider's eyes, or the future through a ghost's.
