Pulp

A subgenre preserving the aesthetics and velocity of the early twentieth-century adventure magazines: square-jawed heroes, dastardly villains, lost civilizations, ray guns, and cliffhanger plotting delivered at breakneck pace.

The thrill of relentless forward momentum, where every chapter delivers peril, escape, or revelation. It's the exhilaration of exotic settings and clear-cut morality, a pure, unembarrassed adventure.
