A subjugated social state and symbolic designation defining an individual explicitly branded, tagged, or flagged for systemic servitude, ritualistic sacrifice, or institutional ownership.

The dread of being marked for a terrible fate, the chilling certainty of systemic ownership, and the visceral fear of ritual sacrifice. It is the feeling of being a pawn in a grand, often deadly, design.
