Exile & Return

A classic narrative structure tracing a character's physical or forced displacement from their origin, exploring how the impossibility of fully returning home alters identity.

The ache of displacement and the bittersweet resonance of returning home changed. It's the longing for a place that no longer exists as it was, or for a self that cannot be reclaimed. The impossibility of a true return, even when physically back, creates a profound sense of altered identity.
