When Nick was growing up, he didn't want to be a fireman, he didn't want to be a cowboy, he didn't want to be a doctor, and he didn't want to be a race car driver. He wanted to be a magician... or a superhero. He hasn't figured out how to cast spells or how to fly, but he writes stories about people who have. And sometimes, like when fans tell him how much they enjoyed his quirky tales, he thinks he has the best job in the world and he wouldn't trade it for anything, not even for a sword of light or a ring that makes him invisible...
Nick writes in many genres:
science fiction and fantasy as "Nick Aires"
horror and dark fantasy as "Nicholas Knight"
picture books through YA books as "Nick Fox"
mystery and suspense as "Nick Andreychuk", his legal name
