Carrie loves fantasy fiction, coffee, cats, gaming, and adventures. Before launching her career as an author, she spent many years as a video game programmer working on MMORPGs. When she isn't writing or reading she heads outside to rock climb, hike and explore. She lives on Colorado's Western Slope with her husband and daughter.
